| PEER
PATROL |
|
Every
dog owner can do Peer Patrol on their regular dog walks.
Peer Patrol will go out into the Capitola community on a regular
basis and check up on specific dog areas such as Hooper's Beach,
Rispin Mansion, Peery Park, or other parks etc. for clean-up
status. The Patrol might pick up any pile they find, pass out
plastic bags, ask a dog owner to clean up, make a note if there
is abuse of the dog rules and report to C-DOG by email or phone
that a bag dispenser needs to be filled or a clean-up needs
to be planned for a certain area. This task will work in nicely
with a regular dog walk. The Patrols should coordinate areas
covered with C-DOG team leaders to make sure there is good coverage.
Estimated time 10 - 30 minutes two or three times a week. Contact:
