Join us! The weather is expected to be great. Bring your dog and you'll both
have a wonderful time. You'll be doing yourself and other dog lovers a great
service by making Capitola a clean and pleasant place to be. Your dog will
love the yummy goodies that Becky bakes fresh at Moon Doggies. They will
provide free coffee for the C-DOG meeting. Share dog stories and concerns
with fellow dog owners. We will also be discussing the upcoming plans for a
Canine Festival/Easter Parade.

We will walk up Wharf Road at about 10:30 to Rispin Mansion for our 30
minute community clean-up.

C-DOG is going to the City Council for approval on the Canine Festival &
Easter Parade on Thursday Feb 14th. Please consider coming to the meeting or
writing the council (and sending a copy to us) to support this wonderful
community event.

Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson

Jean Donaldson's book is quite simply the very best dog book I have ever
read. It is utterly unique, fascinating to the
extreme, and literally overflowing with information that is so new it
virtually redefines the state of the art in dog behavior and training.
Written in Jean's inimitably informal lecture style, the book races along on
par with a good thriller.

NEW! For Pug owners:
Pugsn'Play in Santa Cruz meets Sunday Feb 10th at noon. Location: Meets in
front of the lighthouse on Westcliff Dr. in Santa Cruz. The fun will begin
around 12:00 noon and there is no set time for the gathering to end, so get
there early so you don't miss out on all the great Pugs! Everyone is
invited. They currently have around 18 Pugs who attend, but you know what
