Calls to Action! Here's What You Can Do:

  1. Join C-DOG! Fill out the membership application and send it in to support a dog owners coalition for changes to the existing dog laws. C-DOG is a 100% volunteer effort for the Capitola community. We need your contribution to organize effectively. Benefits to membership include:

  2. Come to the October Beach Clean-up Saturday morning Oct 28th at 10 am Hoopers Beach. Network with other dog owners, build a strong community. We will have plastic bags and buckets there for if you do not have tools. Drizzle or Shine. Hooper's Beach Map. Sorry dogs are still not allowed on the beach legally :-(

  3. Read & Write The Mid-County Post Oct 24-Nov 6 issue has an article on dogs on the beach. Views supporting the value of dogs to the community are important and can be expressed to the MCPost editor at: mcpost@mcpost.com Suggestions: Keep email concise, upbeat and rational, support C-DOG, and mention that we - are responsible dog owners - support the community - pick up after our dogs AND litterbugs - pay our taxes - and vote!
